And One More Thing…

June 22, 2012 Comments off

Completely forgot to mention the other part: We can’t thank enough all the people who’ve contributed time, talent, and money to Sympathy Pains. And, of course, we could always use more! If you want to give cash (tax-deductable through the Univ of Central Arkansas Foundation Feature Film Fund or UCAFFFF!), or be an extra in the film please follow the links earlier in this sentence! Thanks!

Begging for Money

Hey, everybody – this is the annoying part where we “crowdsource” Sympathy Pains, the feature film we’re making with the University of Central Arkansas. Here’s the details about contributing (click here  –>>) on our website (<<—click here) . Basically, pick what you want to get and give that amount. You can get DVD copies of the film, or other goodies (including getting named in the film or even being a featured player!) and a tax deduction at the same time. Our website will lead you to the UCA Foundation giving page – make sure to declare that you’re giving the money to the UCA Feature Film Fund on the dropdown menu at the Foundation (so we actually get the cash) and they’ll send you a tax receipt at the end of the year. How cool! End of begging.

Sympathy Pains – 134 Days till Production

February 17, 2012 Comments off

Just finished a really good day of crew interviews on campus. Thanks to everyone who came out. Everyone came in with such a great attitude – “where do you need help?” was the most common answer to “what do you want to do on set?” Having been many places where that’s not the regular attitude, it was awesome keep encountering that all day.

And because I can’t resist an opportunity to plug, here’s a link to the Sympathy Pains on the daringly Dull website, which also has all our fundraising info. Thanks!
