A Very Merry (and late) Christmas!

Feliz Navi-blog!

Get back in the Christmas spirit by listening to Jean Shepherd read his “A Christmas Story” on WOR-AM, NY radio from 1974! For anyone who doesn’t know, “A Christmas Story” was based on a series of stories from Jean Shepherd, and he wrote the screenplay for the movie, too. And you’ll recognize his voice from the movie as the the adult Ralphie narrator.

Fun fact: Director Bob Clark’s two most famous movies? “A Christmas Story” and “Porky’s.” Check him out on IMDB.

How cool that this exists and that we can hear it? Thanks to Roger Ebert, for putting this up!
